InfiniBand Band:

  • Highly Scalable, High-speed, Low Latency data transport

  • Configured in a Full Bisectional Bandwidth (FBB) non-blocking network fabric

  • Zero copy Operations using RDMA

  • 40/100Gbps FBB communication between any 2 end-points on the IB fabric

  • Fully redundant core switch with two-level fat tree topology

Supported Protocols

  • MPI (Message Passing Interface)

  • RDS (Reliable Datagram Socket)

  • IPoIB (IP over Infiniband)

  • SDP (Socket Direct Protocol)

User Network:

For the network requirements, the Aziz Supercomputer is configured with a front-end network connected to the existing user network in KAU and a back-end network used to connect all the HPC equipment in the computing centre.
